Spare Part: MiScreen Photo Interrupter Sensor Assembly
This sensor detects the large hole in the MiScreen frame (which it pops up into) and stops the machine feed rollers to protect the TPH from hitting the frame edge, a simple safety device that's there to protect the TPH from scratches/ damage.
- When making a half frame, that's the Red LED light you see flashing at the end of the screen.
Dropping the machine is the most common cause of sensor failure, along with angled/ sideways/ bending movements of sensor when removing the frames from the rear of the machine
When the sensor fails the Control PCB registered a fault, as the sensor is needed to complete the system startup check, the MiScreen is unusable until the sensor is replaced.
- A constant Red LED may occur on startup.
- Images sent to MiScreen can not be imaged, Red LED flashes.

Transport Damage must be notified prior to install/ usage.

- Where damage to the item occurs in transport, is MUST be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
- Where the customer fails to notify us of transport damage within the 24hour period, it is acceptance the customer forgoes all claims for damages, incorrect description, damaged product, incorrect product description and claim for transport damage.
The above conditions have been instigated due to fraudulent claims by customers for transport damage following improper installation/ handling of the product. If you are not qualified to install the spare part, you are unable to attempt install, break the part and claim a return/ credit.
