Wider coverage with our 48mm Screen Masking Tape for extra adhesion when taping mesh to frames - extra bond area over 24mm tapes.
Extra long 75 Metre length (most other tapes are only 50M), providing great value and more uses from a single roll.
Always leave a 3mm gap between tape and design, as the raised edge from the tape may cause ink bleed when printing.
Mounting MiScreen & RISO Mesh to Frames
Firstly mount MiScreen Mesh using double sided tape. Once secure, use Screen Masking Tape to cover all edges to the frame.
The wider 36mm wraps right over the frame area providing a higher bond that 24mm. This provides additional strength and stops the MiScreen mesh from moving on the double sided tape.
Blocking Design Areas
Masking off the whoel screen area except the design? This wider tape blocks large areas of the film/ mesh where pinholes or registration marks have been used.
Remember to maintain a 3mm distance from any design areas, as the raised edge from the tape may cause ink to bleed on the edge of the design area.
Multi-colour Printing
When printing multiple colours the non-absorbent Screen Masking Tape will assist to reduce ink from previous colours lifting off the fabric and marking the mesh.
This maintains the maximum volume of ink on your materials not the back of screens.
